Anyone had any experience with the stuff? I've gutted my interior, gotten rid of the rank and moldy carpet, and I've been seriously considering alternatives to carpeting.
That being said, I have a few questions:
1. How much is needed to do the whole interior of a 924?
2. Is it really necessary to purchase one of those specialized "Lizardskin" paint guns?
3. How does it compare to carpet and other soundproofing/insulating products out there in both price and functionality?
I'd appreciate any information on it. Or if you know of something that might suit my application better, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance! |

Gutted my interior also including the sound deadening material.
Painted the interior floor area with POR15. Painted the floor silver. Problem without rugs floor is slippery. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

I sprayed my interior with Lizard Skin, took 3 gallons to cover everything with two coats.
I bought the gun, its nothing special, you can probably use an undercoating gun instead. Ive also heard of at least one person rolling it on. The finish texture can be adjusted by thinning with water.
Cost wise its cheaper than one of the Dyno Mat type products. Cant comment on how it compares, my car is still in pieces. _________________ Auburn, NH

there is always something like tread-tex.
we used this on hand rails and roof of the pilot house on the last boat i was staioned on. made a huge difference especially when wet. _________________ "Kraut cars, they know how to build 'em".
