For anyone ordering bits from the UK or sending things to the UK we have 2 days of postal strikes starting today, there have also been several wildcat strikes over the past few weeks. Disruption will probably take weeks to clear - again.

Looks like it will probably get worse until finally the Royal Mail finally sinks without trace as everyone abandons it for other carriers

I got parts yesterday. Luckily, that was all i was waiting for and have nothing else coming. Got no letter deliveries today though. I am due a phone bill so not too worried. I have heard 3 days of sirkes next week though.

I here the workers are trying to (among other things) prevent privatisation.

Royal Mail - Royal Fail !

grate isn't it. Love those two. remember that episode well.
yer, our Royal Mail. They want to make it more profitable so they get more when they sell it. The mail workers are worried that if it falls into private hands it may be quicker to send a letter by Porsche than by post.
