I haven't rebuilt a waste gate in some years. Last time was when I obtained the parts from Peter Dawes back in the day.

I have a vague recollection that his instructions were to spray some graphite powder in the chamber...

Does this sound right? Also, does it matter whether one does the vent or pressure side, or both?
