Who would be willing to send me a clutch cable end, the screw-on type, (broken is fine)? Just stick in an envelope with a stamp...
...I was going to take one in to have a look at duplicating them in aluminum, but the clutch cable I have must be different than the ones you guys are always complaining about breaking. The end that goes on the clutch fork is definitely not the same as the end that goes in the cockpit, and neither end screws off, they are pressed on and clamped somehow.
I'll post photos later, but if anyone has one that they'd be willing to send as a sample, and pronto, please PM or email me. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

the ones you always here guys complaining about are off of the early 24s. I bought some stainless steel ends for mine that I planned on putting on at the same time as I changed my snapped clutch cable only to find what you stated. Neither end screws off and both ends are different.
Long story short, I don't have a broken one but I do have 2 stainless steel ones that I'm trying to unload if anybody is interested _________________ 1980 924 NA

Perfect. Do you by chance happen to know the model years for which it applies? My '81 doesn't have ends like that, as you can see by the pix... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
