go and see. seems sound to me. Only thing I don't like is that you'll need an electromotor to spin the 'second' shaft. But as they say, this doesn't need to be a powerful one, just enough to get to that speed (which takes always the same amount of power, no matter how much power you're putting through the whole transmission)

if only they could use the transmission's power for controlling the speed of the shaft... but that, paradoxally, involves a transmission again.
This could be a great transmission to use combined with an electric motor on a car. You could use a far smaller motor and run it on power instead on just torque.
Means smaller batteries etc. too _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

No, just fit two engines in your 924,
924 engine up front to operate the bottom shaft gear ratios
D Dive gearbox where the back seats are
911 air cooled engine in the rear.
still three peddles: one brake, clutch no longer needed, two throttles
forget left foot breaking, left foot throttle more like _________________ 924 (84) N/A 2 ltr - 5 Speed - BLACK - Project (looking for 200BHP, any ideas!)
924 (81) N/A 2 ltr - 3 Speed Auto - SURINAM RED (Metallic) - Near Original Spec (sticking with originality)
BOTH ON THE ROAD, BOTH USED EVERY-OTHER DAY |
