You mean J-Pipe? Depends what is on and what's off. Just recently replaced waste gate and J-Pipe. Recall having to keep things loose. Inserted dump pipe into cat or cat bypass and attached waste gate, then recall putting on J-Pipe, and needing some maneuvering room. All the while the waste gate was loose on its mounts - suggest keeping waste gate loose until all pipes are snug, so as to reduce stress on mounting hardware for waste gate. Need some good extensions and universals to get in to waste gate bracket near torque tube. Think about pulling heat shield to tighten waste gate bracket nuts. This from memory however, with inherent flaws of recollection. Did not have exhaust pipe off of turbo for this work.

Large header pipe, then attach the pipe from the WG to the cat to the WG. Insert pipe into the cat and loosely install the WG on the header pipe. Then install the J pipe.

Leave everything loose until all is installed.
