One of the links was to this;

http://www.roadandtrack.com/revvedup/matchbox-mayhem!

Classic

EDIT: It was pointed out to me that the link doesn't work. I suspect it's because the exclamation mark at the end is not being recognised. It seems to work just fine for me if I copy-and-paste the whole URL into the address bar of my browser. Sorry for the hassle but it's worth the extra 1.25 seconds for the entertainment, IMHO.

The BB software will not recognize it as a URL when it has special characters. Force wrapping it in the URL tags doesn't work either, will cause a blank message to display because phpBB doesn't know how to deal with the special character in the URL. Trying to remember if "!" are allowed in URLs...might be a disallowed character in protocol (HTTP).

...continued from above, you can get the URL to work by encoding the "!" with it's "HTML entity reference", which is "%21". Like this:
Code:
http://www.roadandtrack.com/revvedup/matchbox-mayhem%21

http://www.roadandtrack.com/revvedup/matchbox-mayhem%21
