Hi we are going through our 924S 24hrs of LeMons car and both inner axle CV joints are slightly chunked up on the edges.

i know they are loboro joints but the 924s seem to be harder to find. i am just lloking for 2 new inners or possibly new rebuilt axles.

are they the same as a 944? what about other VW or audi cars?

and how worn is worn? i notice some wear marks on the outers but minimal.

Flip them around so that they run in the other direction. Different wear pattern. Should be good for a couple thousand miles.

are they type 1,2,4 or 930?

are they 33 spline?

I'll take a look when I get home.

They're from a 79 924na with the snailshell.

Have the front suspension uprights and trailing arms as well.

my rear arms are aluminum and i have 4 wheel 5 lug disks

Jeez, yeah those are not gonna help you much (well the CV joints might, if they are the same with just a different shaft length)

does anybody have a link to Lobro CV joint ID, application or dimension charts?
