Three questions about the pictured air dam:

1. Is this a "flex dam" that used to be sold by Auto Atlanta?
2. Are they still available?
3. Are they ITS legal?

TIA

His hair is receding, called the cul de sac effect here in the states! Mine does that too, big forehead!

Sounds like you need to read the GCR...

Or, I could ask a buddy on the Internets who likely has it memorized.

Short answer - probably, but I can't see the picture at work.

Long answer - if you're building a car to ITS specs, you really need to know the rulebook yourself. There's countless ways to overlook some small detail and make the car permanently illegal. The IT ruleset is all about what you can do; explicitly stated, If It Doesn't Say You Can, You Can't (IIDSYCYC) is the guiding principle behind the rules.

So really, honestly, you need to RTFM yourself.

Thanks for the advice, and I certainly am planning on familiarizing myself with the rule book. . .the POTD just caught my eye, and got me curious.

Rasta,
It's legal as long as it doesn't stick out beyond the original profile of the front of the car looking down (excludes the bumper) AND attaches to the car body.
But a 924 isn't legal in IT-S, only in IT-B class. The 944 is an IT-S car.

It also cannot extend lower than the bottom edge of the wheel rim. Still haven't seen the pic, but I'm guessing the subject does not.

Yeah, I always liked that look on that car. I have one like it, but it doesn't have the lower black part that is in that picture.

Lower part is probably rubber lawn edging. Lots of racing parts come from Home Depot Racing Center

They used to sell those at JCWhitney. I don't think so anymore though.

If AA says they have one, insist on a recent pic, like from today, and get a firm shipping quote with insurance before you send any money.
