A new door is opening for me..
massaged and in primer, sealer, base coat & clear.

Theres much left to do & it gets exciting.. another door, fenders, turbo hood, nose panel.
then the body and door jams ( strippin the tub of paint.) GT flairs and makin a piece under the door.

Thats a good question ..what i know i want is one color,
either a pearl charcoal ( like the ford escape) or
a candy tangerine orange red with no pearl. ( its
a drker redder orange the candy tangerine will give it depth
and glow.

See i could really see it in the charcoal pearl.. though the orange is what i wanted up to a few weeks ago. I still dont know..

What a task. I think today Ill
just start out playin spray gun master
and reprime, though id also like to get 2
the fenders I set out last nite.

I thought bout the color and i think the
fire orange is it. though really wont know
till the body is put together and in prime.
though i am gonna put on the color in panel
painting style. I have to get there first.

nice..either of those colours will look sweeeeet joe...orange will be more out there...charcoal more shadowy....you doing any sort of graphics or accents?...
i had a spark moment the other day....saw a red mini cooper painted black base with red flake...looked very very patchy...im guessing it was done by an amateur...the flake was a little big

p.s what orange is it youre talking about?

good job joe. those doors look like the ones on mine did last winter. Now that I have the (majority of the) bodywork done(aside from the new mods I'm doing to the nose panel and front valance), I'm thinking I might do orange too. I saw an Exige go by on a local highway the other day, and it turned my head to the point where I almost went off the road:P it's a lot creamier looking than what you want though....

that color.... it's so... noticeable.

Looking forward to your final color choice. I have that Euro project with the CGT kit like yours to do, most likely next year. Probably get the engine put back together this year. But, we have an excellent condition martini & Rossi interior that we want to use. Some of the carpet is orange/red, so your exterior choices might be similar. And, my wife wants the exterior to be similar as well. I am not so sure! Carry on!

That orange scorp I would maybe start with then put a candy over it.
though its close I think I want a little more red.. Thanks Grenadiers I
cant waite to see what you do.. Mike the orange on the exige is just that orange.

I want something a little redder..
I call it ...Tangerine Blood Orange !

Doors are pretty much done except for wet blocking.
