I say yes, largely because one P-car is just never enough. I'd think eventually you'd find the auto tranny boring, but for days when your Black Beauty is laid up in the garage, this 924 would be just the thing. So what's your price point (as in, what's the car worth to you)?

Well the guy lives around the corner from me. He sad if i get £650 to him before the auction ends, its mine.

I'm tempted to buy it, drive it till the MOT runs out in 11 months time then and part it out.

Like...

seats £200
Doors £75 each
15" wheels £150
Dash (only slightly cracked) £100
Euro pistons £100

then i will have my money back and the rest will be profit. Its a runner like, it just needs a passenger window switch, thats it! The engine stars lovely, no hot start issues and the engine bay is as clean as you like. Paint is perfect too. Slam.... its a shame to part it out but (as Ricky's Dad Ray says in Series 5 Episode 3) "thats the way she goes"

I'd drive it first, but it looks good value for the low price.

Paula, you're right - it would be a shame to part it out. If you want to make some money back when the MOT runs out, just sell it on, eh? It appears to be in very good shape, almost too good to break it up. I'll bet that if you drive it for the better part of a year you may not be so inclined to sell it in bits.

Joe, I craftily farm out my cars to others so I divest myself of some responsibility. No, I don't have enough time (actually I wonder where YOU get the time!). Let's see... Scottie's in charge of the racer, Mand's responsible for her 924, Wendy (Mand's mom) has the 77.5, Mand is painting my 944... What's left? Oh yeah, my 84 944. Just sharing the joy!

There's folks that look to making money by buying and selling Porsche cars and parts. Then there's folks that just like to drive them for what they are. Go for it.

Damn I would loooove another 924. Unfortunately my 924 and 928 suck up my money. Too bad I have to be 19 on a minimum wage job.

Will pay for delivery from the island to the shore of course.
I do wish to see some more detailed pics though.
If the 924AUT passes MOT succesfully and you're able to sell it running, no harm there.
(I know of another set for sale (next year) but they are not electric/RHD like these are)
KIT
Cheers, Harm.
