Okay, so recently once in awhile the car will not start up at all. It will turn over fine, but it just won't do a damn thing.
I had driven the 924 down to my mechanic to get a new battery for my blazer, and when I tried to start the car up there, it would not fire, so I had one of the guys take a look at it.
Found out it was something with the clutch cable. Like it wasn't hitting quite right, or even activating, which was causing the car to not start?
In any case she would not fire up yet again this morning so I messed with the clutch cable a bit but that did nothing. I let the car sit for awhile and came back and she would start up extremely slow.
I would turn the key and you could barely hear anything going but give it some gas and wait about 30 seconds, she would slowly but surly pump her way up, and start.
I'm thinking maybe the battery, but I don't have any of my testing tools out as I have just moved to a new house, so finding them is going to be a real pain.
Any ideas? _________________ 1979 Porsche 924- Snailshell
