Is it hard to pull the ignition? I need to connect a immobiliser wire up again , and i cant reach it from underneath the dash because the wire is about 3cm long. Any precautions i need to take here?

Thanks

Center the steering wheel before you take it off.
don't crossthread the housing bolts when you screw back in the switchgear.
Only if you need to take out the barrell are there tricky bits, all pretty straight forward stuff.
you'll need a 24mm socket and a short extention bar for your ratchet

Why go to all that trouble?

Grab the wires running to the ignition switch up behind the fuse/relay pane, and cut in there.

The wire im looking for is a wire witch is all by itself and comes straight out of the ignition and doenst go anywhere and one wire of the immobiliser needs to connect up to it.

Besides that, even a remotely intelligent car thief will look under/ rip off wires at the ignition switch. Doesn`t take much brains to jump a relay or cut & twist 2 wires.

Another relay at the fuse/ relay panel is more inconspicuous. Rewire or protect the fuel pump circuit as well or even instead. So simple to jump the battery to coil +, why bother with the key.

BTW, no I`m not a car thief.
