I am converting my 931 to 937 body.

How do you fit a carrera gt front bumper ?

I assume you have to make brackets ?

depends on who made it and how it was made. Some companies provide better mounting than others. For instance, GT racing provides next to no mounting provision, instructions, or helpful advice by phone. "We dont advise on mounting our products sir, we assume a professional shop will handle the installation."

The AIR GTS front bumper is fairly easy to mount, they leave a reinforced mounting surface over each wing just like the 944 front valance.

I thing I wil drill two holes and make new brackets.

I need two rubber pads. Can I use them from a 944 (eu) ?

Can anybody post some pictures of the inside of the GT bumper en of the brackets ???

I have the AIR for mine. I have bolts on the outside edges at the fenders, (like the stock 944) I made 2 brackets to mount at the original bumper locations and plan to make attaching brackets on the inside of the bumper to connect to. I also have removed the front body crossmenber and replaced it with a 12 ga. C shaped chanel. I have it made so the top sandwiches the top bumper edge between it and the front nose panel. I am also planning on adding a steel stiffener to the inside bottom edge.
