My neighbor sold me his 1971 Jeep CJ5 Renegade II for cheap last week. I couldn't pass up on the deal, Renegade II's, only 600 were made that year. Nice New Mexico original condition. Here's a pic of the new yellow ride with some friends in the background. Ignore the wood piles in the background, we used a front end loader to pile them up. Once the top snow is gone in a couple days, whooosh, flame on!

Rest of the 60 pics of the little details if interested.

Thanks Jim, the PO had a sense of humor! There's a woooga type horn on it as well, that's gonna go.

Interesting item on the jeep are these aircraft circuit breakers. The PO was life long military, and rewired this jeep in 1986. No fuses, all new wiring at the time. The 'buttons' pop out when activated. I have the wiring diagram on how he did it. Wonder if this would work for a toofah for basic operation?

haha thats very cool and in fact, Andrew NZ's crew chief did the same thing with his old mk2 ford escort many years ago! He said he found them much easier to use when working on the engine or stereo.

Paul, what's a cherokee 180? All google returns are thermostats! I had a 1979 cherokee, two door, from texas a few years back. Sold it to buy a nikon VR zoom lense I never use, grrrr, wish I still had the cherokee.
