Hi folks,
I had fuel consumption problems a while ago and by leaning the mixture somewhat (using the adjusing screw by the throttle bodies) I got better fuel economy.. Thing is, it started to stall at idle, and it got worse to the point it now stalls whenever I slow down. Fully rich on that adjuster is the only time it wont stall at idle (so it's back to 10-15MPG).
Does the 1984cc Lux have an Idle Air Control (IAC) valve? I can't find anything on here or in the Haynes manual about it, but it seems my problem is a classic symptom of a clogged IAC valve Any other suggestions as to what might be causing this?
Thank you, Jason |
