It's nice to see that design finally come into its own. _________________ '88 944 Auto - may or may not resurrect |

The only issue is that driving one with a mate results in man-touching.... LOL

BTW, there's also a Stratos you can buy and build yourself:

Top Gear set this poor car up for failure, because it is much better than shown in the video. _________________ Stefan

the italians used to make great cars....especially before ww2.
at work we currently have a narrow angle v8 from lancia... great stuff beautiful crankshaft, engine like a VR6... very pretty
according to google, the new stratos will get a ferrari v8... but that's no problem i guess... ferrari=fiat=lancia etc... all the same. As long as it's good.
I like the looks. _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

Yep, the builder of that car was really unhappy about watching the Stig practicing spinning the car and recovering it. Especially after he busted his ass to keep the car running.

Ya gotta hand it to Lancia, they stayed true to its design roots.
To bad Porsche doesn't see the value in making a new 944. _________________ 1981 931 CGT replica, OEM CGT intercooler, .8 BAR WG spring, GTS Headlights, Innovative Wide band A/F, A/C delete, 16" Fuchs, Weltmeister 200lb lowering springs, Bilstein HDs front, Koni Sport rears. |
