yeah lemons is really fun but the last race really kinda just sucked, i worked on the brakes constantly. trying to make 25 year old soviet brakes with absolutely no spare parts work is quite a challenge. i managed to make them work and then the calipers froze when a very mechanically ignorant driver was driving, he didnt come into the pits untlil the wheels were hot enough to ignite dot 5 brake fluid. the caliper seals melted and leaked all over the front left wheel which flashed and made a nice little fire. we finished the race with just back brakes. then we were behind a iroz that spun out and wrapped around the front of the car.

Aren't they related to the Fiat 128 and Fiat X-1/9? _________________ Stefan

really the only thing we have found that is interchangeable is the 4x98 bolt pattern. i believe he rear axle is close enough to make work with some fab, and the springs and shocks went right in the car; right after we welded some tabs on the axle housing. we have yet to find anything other than the wheels that are a actual bolt on from a fiat. _________________ 1977 924 euro spec and no emissions equip |
