I have two 944 5 speed transmissions sitting at home and was checking the codes on them yesterday. One started with 8Q and the other QM(edit, not QM, QK). My workshop manual was very clear that the 8Q was an LSD but I saw no example of the QM together in that order. I gather that a QM (edit, not QM, QK) is just a standard transmission?

my mistake, the second transmission is stamped QK not QM.
So I have an 8Q and a QK
So what is a QK transmission? The repair manual lists a QM but not a QK.
