So many morons out there with pent up hate for the 924. All they do is spew the same old shlock, over and over again. Oh well... F$^K em.

On the bright side, you can pick up nice examples cheap.

Too bad this particular car went to a flipper, at $7500 it appeared to be a darn nice car, at a reasonable price point... dare I say investment quality. At $12,900... not so much.

It's easy to hate on something when you:

- Can't afford a 911
- You don't understand the 924 or what it is
- Hear a lot of hearsay from other haters
- Can't afford a 924 on top of it, or to maintain it, or understand how to work on it.
- Like to look cool on the internet, so you hate on things you will never buy to look cool.

Just another day on the internet. I get hate on my cars all the time but I don't care. I enjoy them. I work on them. I own them. They make me happy. That's all that matters to me.

If someday these cars eventually appreciate and are collectors cars, so be it, cool. The haters will be feeling like idiots. I don't expect them to, but time will tell. Either way, I'll be enjoying mine while other people hate hate hate. Let them hate.

Heh heh heh... apart from the last half of the last point, that could describe a lot of 924 owners here

I wonder if theyll be hating on mine when

1) I burn them off the lights
2) I burn them around the corners
3)My passengers are hotter then their boyish wet dreams

There is a very strong interest in the 924 in Norway these days
On the Norwegeian Porsche Club forum there are new threads all the time about parts for 924 and also threads on projects and new 924 owners.

The same goes for the 928... That car was give-away-cheap for many many years, now the prices are way up!

I hope this indicates a new era for the front-engined PORSCHES! Of course they are GREAT CARS - all of them!

My cars are very rarely dissed. Probably because I dont bring them up much in conversation, I just show up in one and people are like, "wow, thats a really nice porsche." The average person dosent even know what a 924 is, and the ones who actually know there are diffirent types of porsche, seldom can tell the diffirence between a 924 carerra gt, a 924 and a 944. If you keep your car in superior shape it is usually just the retards who bring it down. Who hangs out with retards anyway?
