Weird...
But cool, if they're real
US$100,000 for the "GTR" and US$32,000-odd for the rally jobbie. That's big bucks for cars that quite obviously need a lot of work. They'd wanna be the real deal. Even then, that's a lotta dough... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Car one has been brought to your attention …over here:
http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?p=291456#291456
That second one sure has a story when regarding H.Ristl's rally history.
I wonder that cold air intake and the black hood though…
Thanks!
Regards, Harm. |

A few years ago, factory restored GTS went for €99,999.
The ad said it was #001 and that it was Walter Rohrl's training car. _________________ 1984 924 2.0 NA |

I'm really interested in the white "GTR." Maybe it was at one time, but it's just a pile now. I can see pieces missing in the engine bay. I wouldn't see that car getting any more than 10K, if it is what they say it is. _________________ 1977 Porsche 924 - sold

…came across another odd one out (two actually, but I'll save one for later ) but don't feel like I should wreck the Ultimate GT…-thread again or the ‘The Ridiculously Overpriced Thread’, so it might as well go in here. A reference link to the earlier threads could be usefull though, so here are the Friesinger prototype GTR (#P142) & Rallyfahrzeug (#P144).
Next up is a 924 near Wien, Austria.
For sale as of 7/31/2009 (So even before the Friesinger adverts)
…and surprisingly advertised as being a PORSCHE PROTOTYPE,
claiming to be original …since 12/1979, refering to a magazine article, that clearly shows some alterations… nice to see some history though!
Fixed Price — 120.000 EUR
(?!)
Engine:
I. HOME: www.porsche-prototype-sale.at.tf
II. ANAMERA: http://www.finecars.cc/en/detail/car/48187/index.html?no_cache=1&ret=63
I repeat — 120.000 EUR
I don't get it…
With that kind of money you can buy a GTS
Or a few yummie CGT's hehehe
Hmmm… I should have sticked to ‘The
Ridiculously Overpriced’- thread I guess…
Cheerio, Harm. |

Apart from some of us in Europe I don't think many know of this gem…
…now you know. Curious? _________________ Porsche 924 NA 1982 LY7A/A3A3 _ Greater driving pleasure never harmed anyone. |

… that's not flattering towards the Ferarri GTO now is it
and since you are referring to the old in and out
those Golf tale lights make me wonder what happened during the deed…
