We decided not to go Scottsdale, my wife wasn't feeling real well. Instead, we went to Elephant Butte, NM for a few days. A 'gem of a jewel' in the desert; I just made that up! Took the Spiker on a road trip up to Emory Pass, about 8200 feet, and took a few pics for you winter dwellers.

Thanks for sharing. Every time I see pics of NM I want to go home, pack whatever will fit in my '44 and just drive down right then and there.

Nice job... Gren. Were in the pre planning stage of a
road trip in May.. Were thimking South some where.
Might be as far as Nevada We will take the Ford Escape.

Yeah, we don't get around as much as we like. In the SW, lots to see, but the great distances in between require a lot of travel time.
