|
|
I ran into a very nice low mileage 77.5 recently that had been in storage for a while and is completely rust free, including the under body. The headlights don't work and the right side lights on the car don't come on. All fuses are intact and cleaned, but I noticed that the fuse panel has only the first relay for the headlights and it seems there are supposed to be 2 there. Will the low beams work with only the first relay or does it need both to work? What does the second relay control? Also, I can't figure out why only the lights on the left side work as all of the fuses and bulbs appear good. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The fuse panel likely needs a jolly good clean.
The left and right side exterior lights are on different plugs. Likely the contacts on one plug at least are iffy at best.
That's just one possibility. _________________ 78 924 NA

| I hope that's all it is because the car was stored inside and there is no corrosion anywhere that I can see on the fuses or relays. But looks can be deceiving...thanks. |
