Ay guys I'm Andrew v from australia I was driving in the wet last night and it was pouring down heavy, pulled up in a carpark car was idling for a while I took off on the high way and my car had no power wouldn't go faster then 30 km an hour I pulled up turned it off tried cranking it again wouldn't start towed it home tried adjusting the sensor bowl thingo for the air intake still nothing.
Would anyone know why it's not starting? Would be a massive help if anyone has any ideas at all.

It cranks but the engine won't fire the battery was alil flat but not completely it's on charge now.
But I checked for spark it has spark, checked fuel it's pumping fuel, all I can think of if it's off time but I was driving it before it failed I don't know why it would play up all of the sudden _________________ Vass... |

Had very similar problem.
Wife drove car out of shed, parked and hosed dust off.
Car wouldnt start afterwards.
Found fuse on extra fuse board burnt. Replaced and started straight away.
check fuses related to ign and fuel pump.
the electrics on these cars is common fault. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

the timing belt should be under a metal cover. it's a toothed belt. if it's loose, it can skip a tooth or two and cause lack of power and will be hard or impossible to start. the fuse box is a good thing to check out too. _________________ proud owner of a 1979 924 Sebring Edition with a 931 trans that looks horrible but somehow runs... |
