Is there a good on line source for Porsche factory parts? I live about 3 hours from the nearest one so trips in there don't happen too often. Right now I'm looking for rear sway bar mounts.

Pelican has some bits, and I've always been happy with Paragon Products.

Dan (Ideola's Garage) has some of the rarer bits for our cars of course.

I'm sure others will chime in...

Specific to sway bar mounts - are you looking to add one to a car that came without?

http://www.paragon-products.com/product_p/welt_sb-6900.htm

They also have a set for 98 bucks for a 944. You'd have to call to see if it's available for the 924 as well.

I'm thinking of Porsche only parts like the weld on brackets for sway bars currently.

Ebay is good too. I have purchased a lot from there, and you can usually find lower prices. You can find not only tons of new parts, but also parts from other people, used and sometimes new.

I've used these guys http://www.gaudinjaguarparts.com a couple times. Ordered hard to find parts, prices were better than most but the wait was long.

I've found this dealer to be the least expensive in the US. They ship quick.

I can get those and anything else listed in PET. I do my best to match or beat pricing of the "big guys". Send me a PM with your parts list and I'll provide a quote.

Thanks for the sources, I'll get them down as sources in my notes. I'm still trying to figure out both long range and short range plans. I thought about adding a rear sway bar, but then reread Jim Pashas article and now am considering swapping out the rear suspension to the newer more adjustable ride height version. Adjusting the ride height is the first step and I it sounds quite difficult on the original super beetle suspension. I have to go back Grenediers way a couple of times this summer and he has a lot of extra parts if I can't find a parts car locally.
