Can't believe 6 months has passed down here, back to the farm and slaving away in the restaurant. Ok, there are worse jobs to have!
The 'fleet' is ready for for their tomorrow morning departure, lots of fuel for two vehicles, and 1400 miles!
We got a lot done on house this year the first floor is done, gAk! Upstairs bedrooms are on the list for next winter. Two coats of stain and two decks for the exterior.
Have to say goodbye to our 50 member flock of wild turkeys, they're almost tame, neighbors feed them. Plus, our daily visits of 20 or so white tailed deer. Skinny little bastages.
Those that are looking for parts we talked about, give me a hollar next week. Dave. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Have a safe trip.
Maybe we can get together next year when you come down...our schedule will be "hopefully" less hectic.

Oh SURE, the 911 gets the nice bed to sit on, while poor Spike gets draaged along. jk, but you can tow 924s with the rear wheels on the ground? Didn't know that.
I'll have to drag the 924 out sometime soon and pay you a nice visit! Oh, and the 928 thing has kinda fallen through.... oh well _________________ 1977 Porsche 924 - sold

Well, we made it, 25 hours of driving and stopping, mixed in with 8 hours of sleep, wife and I in the back of the Grand Wagoneer, with 95lb rottie, 18lb terrior, lightweight cat. We're cheap, no motelling it! The rumble of diesel engines in the truck stop all night, on both sides of the GW. Got some sleep! Left 78 degree sunshine, back to 39 degrees, windy, and cloudy, ugh. The warm pizza season seems so far off! _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Good to see you made back safe and sound. Don't worry, those 90 degree days will be upon you quicker than you think . _________________ '95 BMW 318i/5 ..."Pearl"

Not will it be 90 degrees, but it will also be 90 percent humidity! Yay!
Good to have you back in the badger state, Dave. Look forward to seeing your new fleet! _________________ 1977 Porsche 924 - sold

Today, after recovering from last night's post-trip beer, I took the 911 out on our home-town twisties. Way fun, lots of sand from winter still on roads, need a few rains to get rid of it. So, even while being very careful, the flat six was fun, great sound too! _________________ '83 944 Track car.
