I'm heading out to the local pick n pull today and I need to know which Audi's am I able to steal a oil dip stick from? I ask Audi because of course there are no 924's in any junk yards around here.
So far, Pick n Pull has an Audi 4000 and a couple Audi 5000's. From what I understand, the block of the 924/931 engine is sourced from an Audi 100. But they aren't called Audi 100's here in the states. Is it a fair assumption to say that if it's an old 4cyl Audi motor, the dip stick will be fine? _________________ Brian

| I've had 2 audi 4000's with the 4 cyl. Infact, I kick myself for getting rid of one of them 4 years ago (ratty car but just couldn't kill it) Anyway, tons of parts are shared with the 924. If I recall the dipstick looks the same but there maybe a length issue as the 924 engine is tilted. |
