This is something I've been wondering for a while.
I'll start.

I run a bike shop! TBH it takes most of my time, money, and patience, so it's more or less my life.

Much as with Apple's, "There's an app for that," with 924board.org, there's usually a thread for that...

I didn't want to resurrect a 3-year-old dead thread...

I do repairs to my house constantly, (it's 60 YO) do things with my kids (11 yo triplets) and wife, do repairs an my 2000 Grand Caravan or my wife's AUDI A6 bi-turbo, search the net....

My Grand Caravan is lowered, has big stablizer bars, 17" wheels/tires, bigger 4 wheel disc brakes and soon to get a new front facia and side skirts.

I just did the timing belt, rollers, tensioner, water pump on my wife's A6 along with rear brakes......

Last winter I re-plumbed all of the water in my house......

During the school year it is almost a daily thing to help my kids with homework and teach them things that they don't get in school....

My wife is working getting her RN so there are times that I need to help her to understand some of the math and composition. (she is Brazilian and learned English when she came here 13 years ago)

Lately I've been installing 4160 volt switches. Try to work out everynow and then... ummm that's about it.

This is a fire pump motor I wired up. This pump filled a space about 30x15x2 in about 2 minutes.

Here's the test of the fire pump.

Here's what happens to 480 volt bus when not torqued properly. There's a reason that company is no longer on the project.

Me squeezed between a 4160 switch and the wall so I can wire the transformer.

I'm currently a programmer for a couple of websites at a media company.

I'm also trying my hand at fiction writing and intend to have some works self-published before the end of the year.

Wade.

I'm a CIO in a rather small IT-company and a RAF (Russian Automobile Federation) referee / safety car pilot.
