So i have been working on the car and bringing it back to life and is coming well...

The rear glass is coming unsealed at the top. I have looked around on here and found threads of others that have tried to reseal with some horrible results... so i feel i will leave it to the pros to do.

I found a shop here that will remove and replace the glass for 100, but if it breaks they can get new glass and have it in for $285

Does this seem really low to anyone?

IF SO... who else needs this done.. because i have a shop you should call to get it done at!! LOL

You probably noticed this at the car wash. Most 944 hatches I have owned will leak at the top when sprayed from the rear with a high pressure wand, but when rained down on they do not leak. If the glass is not DETACHING from the frame I would attempt to seal it myself before handing a wad of cash to someone else.

oh no.. the glass is detaching.. and i can fit my fingers between it and the fram up on top... so it needs to go to be resealed....

this of course is the least of my new problems... new thread to follow in a few minutes

I have this exact same issue and wasn't sure what exactly I should do to try to fix. Any suggestions?

you should go to a autoglass service they can fix your problem (reseal ) ..or you could try to fix it...but from my opinion it's not worth it..
