|
|
At the local junk yard there is a new (mid 80s) 924 with a dual fan system for cooling, and just wondering if anyone knows whether I can throw that into my 1977, it just seems to get a little in the summer times and figured that if I can do this to help cool it, might as well.
Thanks! _________________ Porsche 924 |

I guess anything will help, Im altering my fan system on my webbered track car. I would also like to fit a 2 fan system to the car, it seems some agent here has them ' to fit'.
I would also alter the thermostat fan switch to a lower temperature 'power on' type. This would turn the fans ealier than the factory fitted one.

You could probably make it fit, radiators seem similar. However, the 931 system is a two-stage system with two fan plugs. You could wire it up that both fans run at the same time. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

| Piece o cake. The housing fits right up and you jumper the second fan from the first. Only thing you really need is the extra pigtail and connector for the second fan. |
