|
|
Hello colleagues, today I was sanding the connections of the relays and fuse box, everything was perfect when I was trying to clear an area of difficult access, when it suddenly drops a relay and the car does nothing, the cables are: black, red / blue, red / black, brown. And it does not connect now put pictures of the wires and relay a greeting and thanks

There is no block or single connector to plug into? You just have four wires, each with a female spade connector attached? _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."

That looks like a standard off the shelf relay. It does not appear to be set up as a fuel pump relay as it does not appear to have the pulse signal wire (though I have seen set ups that omit this.) I'd look at the wiring schematic for the two multi-colored wires and see what they reference.
Are the female spade connectors factory or installed later by someone.
Did the relay fall out completely, without wires attached, and you believe they were attached before? That seems strange. Four wires simultaneously becoming disconnected?
This may not be the source of your car not running.
BTW, what do you mean when you say the car does nothing? It doesn't crank, doesn't start, doesn't have any power at all to any systems, gauges, lights, etc? _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."

Stacks and Stacks of info on these when you do a google.
Google ...... relay 86 87 85 30 porsche 924
Where was the relay ? I gather it was in the Engine bay or under the dash and does it have a bosh number like any of the below
From the Ferrari Board:
* BOSCH 0 332 014 113, quantity 14
These are 12V, 30A relays. They have a single #30 input, which connect two two #87 outputs. There is no normally closed output (i.e., no 87a).
* BOSCH 0 332 204 101, quantity 6
These are 12V, 20/30A Standard SPDT relays. They have 85, 86, 30, 87, and 87a terminals.
* BOSCH 0 332 015 006, quantity 1
[This has a big "K" labelled through it, which I have seen elsewhere on this type of relay]. 85 and 86, 30, 87, and 87b terminals. _________________ green 924 .. 1980 rego 924PSH

this relay is used for a couple of things in the 924, fresh air blower, flashing blocker relay, power window relay, cooling fan, horn relay etc, still trying to find the right wire colour combinations, so
Starting from scratch ......
Is it a porsche 924 na or turbo ?
What year model is it ?
If it is a 1976 to 19771/2 model the haynes manual (page 246 ) is harder to understand where the relays are compared to the rest of the models

That does not appear to be stock wiring. Possibly could have been for an immobilizer if "car does nothing". Could equally be a rewired by the PO nightmare. Its very time consuming but easy to check your circuit for someone with auto electrical knowledge and a meter.
Or take the easy way, an educated guess:
thinner wires to coil, 85,86. Doesn`t mater which way.
Thicker wires to NO contacts, 30, 87 , dont matter either.
Simply bridging the larger wires will reveal if "car does anything". _________________ World`s quickest 924 2L slushbox

The Haynes manual I have only covers the 924 and turbo .... 1976 to 1982
Does anyone have a schematic for a 1983 and later ?

I would think your '83 is the same as an '82, and that it wouldn't change materially until the 924S. _________________ "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you are goin' all the way."
