Trial fitted, I had suspected a little work being needed, but apart from a very slight rub on the caliper frame (easily fixed) they fit fine.

There are very, very few wheel styles that look good on these cars, IMHO. It's no secret I'm a fan of the cookie-cutters, and I feel only that style of thinner-spoked, five-spoke wheels actually suit the car. Wheels such as the cookie-cutters, classic Fuchs and at least one set of Ronal wheels I've seen.

I'd say the spokes are too thick those ones you have. But it's all a matter of personal taste and if you like 'em, well, that's all that matters.

These cars have a tough shape/style to match wheels to, I reckon. For example, I really like them wearing the original spiderwebs and yet I can't stand the look of the BBS basketweaves on 'em, even though some might argue they are very similar looking wheels.

My favorite wheels of all time are speedline cup. Doubt that I will ever spend 4000 for a set though.

I have the same rims on my car.

7x16 with 225's in the front / 9x16 with 245's in the rear

I plan to paint the spokes black and keep the edge polished. I think that will look good on a white car, maybe that will look good on yours too.

The spokes are a bit fat, yes, but they cover the drum in the rear, so that's fine for me.

Wow! 245s on a narrow body! Nice job squeezing those in. Looks pretty darn good. Can we see a side on shot of the car?

Looks like some arch rolling front and rear has been going on to do so.

I ran 255/40 R17 tyres on both white and red 924 narrowbody without any rubbing or rolling. Wheels were late offset (52 iirc) Cup 1's from 964 Turbo (9x17).
Strangely this setup worked perfectly with stock 931/944 brakes with factory aluminium spacer but when I switched to 924S rear suspension with aluminium arms (still narrow hubs and rotors), it sticked further outside on both sides and it was not a camber issue. 924S rear suspension is around 10 or so mm's wider on both sides (~20mm wider track).

I don't have a "side on" picture, when the car is standing on the ground. It is placed on jack-stands now, since I'm replacing the engine. But here is how that looks.

Actually no, but the front wheels WILL touch the steel inside the wheel well, when the steering wheel is turned all over, to the left or right.

On the rear axle, I had to flip the bolts that holds the upper end of the shock-absorbers, so the bolthead was facing the tyre, and I also did grind a bit of the boltheads away (just to be sure). These bolts were mounted with the nut facing the tyre, and in this case, the bolt-end could just touch the rubber now and then.

Actually, I will have to roll the rear wheel arch, to get rid of the 1/2 inch sheet metal flange, that goes along the arch, pointing inwards.

This flange WILL touch the rubber now and then.

I like them and that all that matters

They'll be fitted to my silver/blue car and I think will suit that one much better than the brown car.

As for tyres, I'm not goiing as wide as horizon blue, I'm thinking either 205/50 to retain somewhere near the original rolling radius or poassible 195/50, it will be lower than standard too.
