Well, it really depends on your opinion of decent, doesn't it?

I haven't seen any up here that I'd consider decent in that price range. They usually have a major fault or are in need of major maintenance for that price.

Then again, I'm up in western Canada, where the prices seem to be comparable to some areas of The 'States but oddly seem to be consistently higher than the closest few states south of here.
I understand you're quite a ways away but it seems to me the PNW and Cali have selection of decent cars at lower prices than I see up here.

As a final comment, I have found over and over again that even the best looking, best advertised cars that have an unusually keen price have turned out to be average at best when I've actually gone and looked them over. One of 'em was genuinely good. So I bought it.

Decent means a good looking driver that doesn't have bondo caked on the quarters, doesn't leak a gallon of power steering fluid, and has tires that will last more than a week. I would like a car that just needs a few things to be a good fun mountain car.

Might have meant "slipping". So plan on a clutch service, starting with the hydraulics, etc.

Well there is a 924 turbo in Atlanta on ebay in the "salvage cars" section because it has the engine taken apart and needs to be reassembled, but its going for 1450 so I'm sure you could get them to do the work and still be under the 3200... Then you'd have a turbo model instead of an S.

Someone apparently left it at the shop when he was moving back to Sweden or something, didn't want to pay for the repairs and sold the car to the shop idk. I just skimmed it.

I bought mine for 1500 and it needed a head gasket, otherwise its in drive able decent shape, minor damage to the passenger side and some hail damage but a good car for the $

Saw it ~2 days ago so not sure if its still avail. but worth checking out.

I have a nice 944 at the shop. Solid body but needs paint. Originally a Wa car. 3k. Not pushing the sale as we just got it.
