Good one.

Not all that unusual, though. You'd be surprised how little the average bloke on the street knows about Porsches. I have friends that are quite knowledgeable in things mechanical and even automotive, that wouldn't have the faintest clue where the engine is in a Boxster, let alone what type it is.

I've been in the jeep business, a looonnggg time. Buying, building, selling, junking, grr; mostly 4.0L INLINE six cylinder type Wranglers. Most, if not most of the ads, from dealers to private parties, all advertised the jeeps as V6 Jeeps.

No suprise to me that this was advertised as a V6, it's a 6 cylinder anyway, he was close. Not worth as a separate post either, btw, hmpf~!

That sounds like what happened to me everyday when I had that 73 Dart custom. I even got pulled over by a cop asking why my Plymouth Duster was registered as a Dodge
