I am really liking the new Boxster. The previous version all looked a bit too soft and wussy to me. It seems like the new styling has more edge to it. I would actually consider owning one of these (a few years down the road when someone else has eaten the depreciation):
I especially like the door cutouts leading to the rear vent intakes, and the integral fin on the deck lid. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Best looking Boxster since the concept car in my view. Lots of design lifts from the 918 Spyder as well. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

If they would only put a GT3 engine in it in some version, even if it would be a generation older, now that would make it a stellar car in terms of both looks and performance. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

I like the Cayman better than the Boxster by far, but this is one Boxster I could see myself driving and owning. It will be interesting to see what design influences are carried into the new Cayman... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
