I purchased an '87 942S from a friend. I know very little about these cars, but am learning what's avaialble online. It has the regular problems - cracked dash, torn seat covers, A/C not working and I can't get the hatch to open (yet). I drove it two hours home without a hitch though so I've got a good base to work with and very little cash invested so far. I look forward to sharing and learning here.

I finally got the rear hatch open, seems the rods need lots of adjustment and I still don't have it just right. I did find the original type spare tire and tool set. I've never seen a spare like this one before. Not to worry regarding the timing belt, I have one and just need the time to install it!
