Hey all,
So when I bought my 924, the previous owner's brother was telling me he wanted to chrome the front and rear bumper. Personally, I didn't think it'd look very good. But ever since, I have always wondered what it would look like. I was thinking it *might* look good if all of the trim was chromed also, including the hatch trim, and side view mirrors. Any one good at photo shop? I'd really love it if someone could whip that up.
What do you guys think? I know its kind of an outlandish idea, but I think it might work well with the pre- 80's cars.

One of the things that makes the Toofah such a timeless* car from the mid-seventies is the intergrated bumper design with lights and indicators.

my buddy's 924s has matte black bumpers. they look pretty nice on it considering all the trim is matte black. I stripped the rear bumper on mine before I primed it and it looked absolutely goofy. _________________ proud owner of a 1979 924 Sebring Edition with a 931 trans that looks horrible but somehow runs... |

Well, like I said just a thought. I was thinking it would be a nod to the 914s in a way. I've just always felt the american 924 bumpers looked really thrown together. If this makes any difference, I had imagined it with the collapsed bumper shock modification both front and rear, and retain the bumperettes. _________________ 1978 924 NA

What color do you prefer, or/and other details?
Preference for a particular photo / image?
I'd like to hear this in advance |

Here is a picture that would work, it's a little grainy though.

Excellent taste, sir.
I linked that image arlier in here in high-res from Pelican, so no problem.
Another image showing the rear would be nice?
…now all I have left to do is find the “Transform-to-Chrome-button”
I'll spend some time on it the coming weekend.
