I'm actually kicking myself a bit. A guy offered me his 83 944 that needed a head gasket a few months back for $300. I told him no without checking out the car simply b/c I don't have anywhere to put it.

I found out that he sold it to a local junkyard, so I decided to stop by and check it out. REALLY MAD THAT I DIDNT GET IT! Car is complete and has a flawless interior aside from dust and cobwebs from sitting.

I picked up a few gems:

15" Fuch wheels MINT - $150

Black interior 1/4 pieces MINT - $80 pair (I've been looking for a good set for over 2 years now, and these are the best I've ever seen. Gonna take the opportunity while they are off a car to reinforce them with some fiberglass.)

Belly Pan Very Good - $30

Head Gasket Set NEW - $30

Kinda upset I didn't buy the car when I had the chance, but I really didn't have the room so this works out Ok.

BTW the car has power script seats front and rear (Passenger has some burns, but other than that they are solid)

Black door cards are Mint, I'm tempted to pick these up for myself.

If anybody needs anything, I'll be happy to check the car out for them when I'm out that way.

Man, too bad you didn't have room for it, could have made your money back selling parts.

Better hurry and get all you want, if that junkyard is like the ones down here it will be gone in no time.

The yard in Daytona had 4 old P-cars, were gone in a matter of weeks, likely crushed in a drunken haze of stale beer and cheap Scotch.

Must have been one Hell of a party....
