Scoured the board (and the WWW.) and have not come across any symptons close to this:

From COLD, start her up, runs sweet for nearly bang on 30 seconds and then cuts out without any coughing/spluttering/misfiring, as if somebody has just flicked the ignition off.

So far, replaced:
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pump
DME Relay
Temp Sensors x2
Mass Air Flow meter
Throttle Position Switch
Crank Sensors x2
ECU tested and OK
Fuel Pressure tested and OK
Vacuum lines checked and OK

To make matters worse, after she's been started enough times to raise the engine temperature slightly she'll run all day long

Now I am lost. Chatted to a few Porsche Specialists and they've been left scratching their heads too.

It's been nearly 3 months since she last saw tarmac- fortunately the garage I work for have given me use of their courtesy cars for the time being, but I want the old girl back on the road as soon as (of course, who wouldn't?).

Many thanks in advance for taking your time to read this and any clues will be welcomed with shed loads of appreciation.

Sean

Always start such troubleshooting by cleaning the engine grounds underneath the heater control valve at the rear of the engine.
