I want to replace my entire steering column switch with steering lock as mine is worned out and cracked in several places.
When I look at DC website I see 2 parts number with same description, which one would be the right one as the prices are quite different
http://dcauto.gotdns.com/illustration/index/948968862

1 113953503BG: 200$
(1) 477953503B (79-): 120$

why is the second one in parenthesis?

if one of you could bring light to this or if you have that part available in your own parts bin for cheaper please let me know!

I have one out of my '80 turbo car, flat paddles. The little white plastic sliders for the turn signal, one is broken, if you might have one from yours. 75 bucks delivered. dave.

I'm pretty sure the metal paddle and plastic paddle versions are not interchangeable. I don't remember which is which, but one attaches by 3 screws and one with 4; I believe the plug harness are different too. So you need to make sure you get the correct unit.

Be wary of DC Automotive...lots of complaints about them.
