FWIW after repairing and recharging my A/C with R134 I was not overly satisfied with how long it took cool down the car after sitting in the parking lot all afternoon so I tinted the windows. Looks pretty sweet and it really helps keep things cooler and well as helping the A/C do its job.

Mark - the car looks great! Truthfully the HVAC systems in these cars are not that great. My early 944 has the same problem.

Thanks and by the way thanks for your help and patience in procuring my replacement condenser.

Now all that left is to remove the ugly bumper pads, push in the front and rear bumpers for the Euro look, paint the front cowl and install the new Porsche badge.

Thanks Ty.
The rear window? I used a Bic pen and my checkbook...hehe kidding, a local tint shop did it. He said it was a bitch but he said they lay it on the outside of the glass and sort of shrink wrap it to the shape of the glass and then apply to the inside.

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost.
I have tried to get my back hatch tinted twice and neither tinter was successful. I did find another guy and he said he'd do it for $450.
I thought that was a little steep.
