So I got to experience the car for real on Saturday. I have to say it has been a long time since I have drive a car that handles so well and shakes your fillings out! LOL. I was in heaven.
When I picked up the car it had no seats and I manufactured some mounts to add a seat I had in one of my previous Porsches. Ok, it was not much of a mount. It was an 1/8 inch steel bar in the front and a 5/8 inch Aluminum plate for the back. Drilled 4 holes so that I could mount them to the floor and then tapped a second set to bolt the seat in.
I then took the 924 to put some gas in and around the block. Noticed that I had put the seat rails on upside down! Oops, the hand brake light liked to stay on, but nothing big.
Then with my GF in tow drove the beast down the back roads at a nice leisurely pace (100 to 110 kph) with a HUGE grin on my face the whole way.

Pull the hand brake up, and you'll see a little push-button switch which turns on the light. There should be one philips head screw holding it down. Unscrew it and clean the contacts. _________________ 1977 Porsche 924 - sold
