Hi, my name is Juan, i often read the forum to get some information and to find parts, I’m from Argentina and I have a Porsche 924 1981. I leave you some specs and pics.
Some specs.
1981 2.0 N/A 924.
modified camshaft, hardened cam followers, forged pistons, CR raised to 10.4 , new OEM clutch, 48mm TWM ITB's , megasquirt EFI, Cylinder head ported & polished, matched to the intake and exhaust manifolds, new valves, new water pump, MSD blaster 2 coil, accel spark plug cables, msd streetfire ignition, Oem rear Koni adjustable shocks, front puliurethane bushings, and lots of more things that im forgetting.
The car is running really nice, the only problem i have is with the pilot bearing, I’ve replaced it when i made the clutch and took the engine away to rebuild, but now it started making noises again after 4000kmts. a real pain in the ass to replace this again!!
This weekend i fitted a pair of weltmeister 200lb springs (no pictures yet).
Some Pictures:

Awesome. I love how it's highly modified but looks completely stock on the outside. _________________ 81 924 N/A

Looks great! What type of piston did you use? Anything done to the head? _________________ Porsche 924 1977 N/A

Thanks to everyone! .
The pistons are lighter than the OEM, forged with special rings, higher Compression in 87mm made here in Argentina by IAPEL.
The head is port&polished, flowed and all new (seals, valve guides, valves, etc). |
