just wondering if anyone has installed a cooler on the transmisson is wanting to share some install details such as

pump location, flow capacity and line sizes
line locatons
thermostat used and temp setting?

I have a spare 931 oil cooler and am thinking if this would be suitable to use for the G31 trans, at the moment it has the stock lines with banjo fittings
cheers
Stu

I'd say this would be a good start:

http://www.patrickmotorsports.com/part/pkg-trans-oil-cooler-kit/

Since the G31 is related to the Porsche 901/915 transaxles.

The Tilton pump is a pretty common piece as are the rest of the pieces, so I'd look at the pump they use, etc.

I suspect the oil pickup is from the drain port and the return is into the fill port, but I don't know for sure.
