Yes, the engine bays are the same, but engines mount differently: 2.0 engine mounts are on the frame rails, 944 engines mount on the crossmember. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

Engine bays are the same size, engine mounts are different as are the cross members and steering racks.
Doing an engine swap? The swap kit parts will work, but you need to modify the stock crossmember to hold the engine mounts (or switch to the 944 crossmember, which requires welding) _________________ Stefan
