Robot? Looks like a gas pump to me..., the kind with the little glass globe on the side whith the little balls that spin around when the pump is on.

What's the confusion?

I think you can thank google images for that: if you type 'low fuel light' into google images, your photo is one of the top choices, from the 924.org website.
