hey everyone,
I was going to replace the hose from the fuel pump to the accumulator and the Porsche dealer said it was unavailable -
I wondered if anyone else has replaced that hose with something other than stock replacement?
SpecialT has some high pressure hose and fuel injector clamps that they use for the Delorean but I did not know if that would be strong enough for the Walbro pump that I have (pressure is 73 -80 psi I think).
The guys at Summit did not think the AN adapters would seal well enough with the inverted bubble - type connections, otherwise I would try to change over to the AN style.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I did see someone on pelican forum that used push lock and bit rings - they said they were supposed to be good up to 250 psi that sounds like it would be plenty for our 73psi pump
does anyone here have any experience with these?
thanks again

In the UK we can usually get these pipes made up from any hydraulic supplier or anyone involved in making fuel pipes for competition cars. _________________ 1984 n/a Ruby Red Metallic

Everyone has told me that high pressure fuel lines and fuel injector hose clamps will work beautifully in this situation. I plan on redoing mine using this method soon.
