So the other day when I cleaned out my WUR one of the wires broke off and the car is starting like crap ever since. So,.. if someone would be so kind as to take a pic of the WUR, probe the wires and point out which is POS and which is NEG that would be just super

Brown is always ground. If that helps.

Does not matter. Key switched +12v on one, ground on the other.

That's what I thought. But yes good to know brown is ground too,.. will double check this.

Weird thing. before I rewired that thing I had to hold the peddle to the floor to get it started. Force of habit later I realize, holding the peddle to the floor is flooding the engine, lol.

Holding the pedal down won't flood the engine, in fact it is the Porsche approved way to start the car with a hot engine on the early cars, this is stated in the handbook.

924s never came with carbs.
