Dropped my keys on the way home on canada day, they were no longer where I dropped them when I went to get them the next afternoon...
So, if they don't get returned, will I have to swap in a new ignition lock cylinder?
I can imagine how much of a pain in the ass that would be....
I'm pissed because I had just gotten it running and was excited to drive... |

Assuming hatch and ignition use same key. Remove hatch lock barrel and take to locksmiths to get new key made, and while you're there get a second. _________________ '79 924.

| Unfortunately that is not the case. Ignition key is separate from all other locks on the car |

I think you should be able to have a key cut from the VIN, but that requires a very competent locksmith. _________________ Stefan

Read-up (skipchattybits) followed by How-to. Worked for us.
No starter key...
Good luck,
