Helllo all,
after swapping an1982 engine into my 1977 924 NA i discovered that there is no vaccum on the line to the ignition distributor. So, the ignition is not able to catch up with rpm`s.
To test it i pulled the hose and put my finger onto the hole, and feld nothing?
What can cause this?
Ideas?

If it is hooked up to throttle plate vacuum it shouldn't be much unless the engine is revving. Do you have a diagram to confirm everything is hooked up right? _________________ Toofah King Bad

problem solved,
the vakuum advance inside the Ignition distributor was stucked. The car set for a couple of years. After loosen it and putting some oil on it everything is just fine.
